Good News!
I hope all of you have been well during this time we find ourselves in. in accordance with Governor Ducey's original order, we plan on opening May 19th, that is the following Tuesday the order expires. I am aware that Governor Ducey just said we can open sooner. I am writing to explain where we are at, what will be different for the time being, and what you can do to help us get back to work.
I have not seen the other barbers in person since we closed March 18th. Since closing, we have all been dealing with many things, and we have all had our own personal challenges during this period. Our home lives have been changed since the stay at home order, and we all still have some things that require are immediate attention and care. After some discussion over the phone, and hearing how everyone is doing right now, we find it is our best course of action to not deviate from our plan of opening May 19th, this way everyone can return to work in a good place, fully prepared to serve our customers.
We will be adding an additional 15 minutes between services so that we can be sure to properly sanitize our equipment and chairs in between clients. This time is needed, and we want adhere to the CDC guidelines and take adequate time to sanitize. Because we feel this is an important factor, we have removed the service bundles temporarily. You may schedule all the same services as before just not in the package deal for now. My availability will be limited to 3 days. It will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday weekly. I am still dealing with lots of issues with the business and I have not been able to get as far as I would like with them. Taking this time to attend to the ownership responsibilities right now is critical to the future of our shop, and I do not see a way forward that allows me to be behind the chair the same hours at this time. I want to highly suggest that anyone who feels they need to come in right away should choose any barber that is available. Being flexible with who provides your service will make it easier for you to schedule quickly. These guys are highly talented, experienced, and professional. They always do their best, and they will continue to do so regardless of who is in their chair. I know that this may have to change, and I am doing my best to create a proper course of action with what I know. We appreciate how supportive all of you have been and continue to be. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
